    Default xgody 886 gps

Hi does any one have one of these units, if so are they any good?

    Cheers

*Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of your car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of you car.
*Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I have a 704 that's been working well for a couple of years, another family member has used an 886 for a while with no complaints that I know of.

Thank you for the info, they are certainly cheap enough

No probs, yes they are cheap, I think I paid about $60 for the 704 & the 886 was somewhere around $80.

Been using one for almost 2 years

I updated the Nav software launcher to include two iGo programs and Garmin City Navigator

Use the Bluetooth to stream music from my phone to the truck stereo(doesn't have bluetooth audio) via the headphone plugs

    Only annoying things are

Back light can't be adjusted from within nav software for night driving
If you disconnect the bluetooth from other device you have to exit nav program and enter bluetooth search to reconnect(This may be just with my HTC phone, unsure if other devices do this)

Otherwise it's a pretty good bit of gear for the cheap price

Kevaclone, know its been two years since anything on this thread, but do you have any links to the "Nav software launcher " that you had on this xgody unit ?
had an Navigo unit for 10 yrs that has just packed in which had a nav launcher that allowed tomtom, igo, memory map etc etc
just got an xgody unit and want to try to get a nav launcher to allow me to have a few different nav programs

    thanks
