Mecool K111 Pro cant install freevier apps

I just purchased a Mecool K111 Pro box with Android 7.0 and the DVB/S and DVB/T tuners .
I have two issues with it

I cannot install 7 Sports app from Playstore It just will not go to the app in the store . It puts up other US and European sports apps but will not load 7 Sports. I havent tried Foxtel or 9 Go or any other catch up but this is a bit offputting .

The other issue is the CVBS / AV connecting lead .

I have no idea what 3.5 plug it uses as I have to leave the standard plug not fully pushed in to engage the three contacts . It works ok then but it would be nice to have the correct plug.
Happened to me with my last box and they sent me the correct cable free of charge.

Any one got any clues on either of the above ??

I cannot install 7 Sports app from Playstore
Just download the apk to a USB stick.
From file explorer app of device you can perform a install.
Give this a try it should work.

Mate just tried that and it says it is incompatible with the K111 Pro. Thought all android apps worked on all android versions ?

Try install ES file explorer.
If you have another device or phone with that app loaded and working
you can go into ES file explorer on that and under apps hold down on the app
and a little menu appears. Click "more" then press send.
Make sure ES file explorer is open on the target Mecool box and make connection.
This works for me on different boxes most times.
It sends the app to the target.
If it fails to install, this would mean the apk is not compatible with Android version.
