    But but but... none of them have their cabling ticket! Surely, that means that the moon will crash into the Sun and World will come to an end!

    Unfortunately, the story doesn't say how they actually connected their cable to the network.

    Hope they got a huge discount for all the materials, equipment and labour they provided.

    This video makes me want to go and hive into an OPTUS optical fibre cable that runs on the power poles past the local Telephone hut but does not go through it.
    When it was announced, it was advertised as being a 'Back Bone' and runs some 30 kms to Oberon from Marrangaroo.
    I am barely 50 metres (line of sight) from the cable and the hut.
    I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
