    Default Converting IMG file to Jpeg?

    I have what i think is the funniest film clip in quite a while which i would like to share with Austech members but, it is in IMG. What do i have to do so i can load it on this Forum?

    jpg is usually for a still pic.

    Yes, if it's a video, just upload to youtube and post the link in the youtube thread.

    AFAIK you can't upload .img files to Youtube.

    What has probably happened here is that you are using a raw image data file (like an ISO file) that Windows 8+ automatically mounts and detects and plays as a video.

    You should be able see the actual video file in your Explorer as a drive letter with the video file in it that you can then simply copy anywhere.


    Confusing is your attempt to copy it to a jpeg when you are talking about a video. You generally want it to be in an .avi .mp4 or .mkv container, being the most common.

    There are vector graphics that also use .img as an actual file format that could be exported to jpg but these are STILL images.
    Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.
    Compatibility: A word soon to be deleted from our dictionaries as it is outdated.

    Well did the youtube thing, but ENF said he could not open it, but every time i clicked on it i could see it??

    So if some one can tell me it is opening, would be pleased

    It doesn't play for me either, but neither does anything else on that page.

    There are just as series of empty rectangles with no content whatsoever.

    Your 'video' is a normal Youtube rectangle but it is solid black with a large exclamation mark at the LHS.

    It is not like a normal Youtube page at all.
