    Default LNR Camera

Are there any cameras with whiteout blocker filter solution immuned from being blinded by bright lights ?

LNR cameras seems to require some light source, still not as effective in total darkness. Nowadays burglars ware a bright LED light on their forehead blinding the camera, One solution I could think of, is to install motion activating high power flood lights externally and internally.

    Any advice appreciated.

I've not come across this and don't believe it's a major problem. I can't imagine why a burglar would want to attract the attention in darkness. Particularly when a hoodie would do just as good a job without turning the crook into a lighthouse. Can you point me to some examples of this please? I acknowledge that criminals may carry a flashlight and this could include a headlamp but not for the reason you suggest.

Illumination always helps and for thirty years the advice has been sensor lights etc. but complicated lighting scenes will have an impact on cameras, especially in the case of cheaper hardware.

I'm not aware of what an LNR camera is. Sorry.

EDIT: We've had this exact discussion previously.

Recently the hoodies become ineffective indoors when the cameras are placed hidden about half a meter above the ground. Recent video showing them wearing bright LED light on the forehead to blind the camera as well as illuminating their target.

I definitely won't be installing any camera at half a meter high and hidden - you could get in all sorts of crap for that.

Most manufacturers have LPR cameras, but they come at a premium.

Our police force calls these "L.N.P.R." cameras and they are specifically designed to read reflected light from number plates, which are coated with reflective paint. But I'd say a human face wouldn't reflect anywhere near enough light to offset a forehead-mounted LED head lamp?
