I've not come across this and don't believe it's a major problem. I can't imagine why a burglar would want to attract the attention in darkness. Particularly when a hoodie would do just as good a job without turning the crook into a lighthouse. Can you point me to some examples of this please? I acknowledge that criminals may carry a flashlight and this could include a headlamp but not for the reason you suggest.
Illumination always helps and for thirty years the advice has been sensor lights etc. but complicated lighting scenes will have an impact on cameras, especially in the case of cheaper hardware.
I'm not aware of what an LNR camera is. Sorry.
