Default 4G USB dongle and Asus DCL-AC68U

    Anyone using the above setup?

The dongle to, preferably, have provision for and come with an antenna.

The Asus list seems to be outdated judging by comments in the second link. When I tried to load the page mentioned in the second link I get a "Page Load Error" message.

Both Telstra and Optus dongles work fine in my DSL-AC3100/ Dsl-ac88u modem.
Both donhles are made by Huawei.

The Asus DCL-AC68U has issues with some dongles hence my request.

I can open that page however there seems to be a later page, which I cannot open, that includes later dongles.

As a long delayed follow up - plug and play on my linux box - so just plugged it into a 240v > 5v USB adapter with WiFi on.
