The new Netflix rival coming to Australia
"US broadcaster CBS has this month announced plans to launch its service in Australia by the end of the year."
"President and Chief Operating Officer Marc DeBevoise told local media at a Los Angeles programming event this week that CBS All Access would launch in Australia during the fourth quarter of 2018."

It's a little hard to get excited about this. We are going through a phase where every little network must have a streaming service of its own. The substantial benefit of a streaming service is that for one fee you get access to all sorts of content. We don't want a world where we all have to subscribe to multiple services at an increased cost to get access to the content we want. Netflix and similar services have in my view done more to reduce piracy than any of the more draconian measures and even more. Too much fragmentation and this will be lost.
Agreed. Interestingly enough, since we've subscribed to Netflix we've hardly looked at any of the stuff that we have acquired over the years.Netflix and similar services have in my view done more to reduce piracy than any of the more draconian measures and even more.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
