It's a sad day, but not unexpected, with the passing of music legend, Aretha Franklin.

Aretha died from pancreatic cancer at age 76.

    To the Queen Of Soul...

Thank you for your wonderful contribution to music.

As I had already posted the report that her health was failing, as MTV says her passing was not unexpected.

I knew she had some health issues from previous reports but to have had and battled with Pancreatic Cancer for 8 years is like her voice, incredible.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

Yes, not unexpected, but still sad. At least she may have heard some of her "eulogies" before her passing. Too often we leave it til after someone dies before we stand up and say how that person has benefited us and/or others. People have been "singing" her praises ever since she went into palliative care.

Never forget to show your appreciation to anyone who has helped you along your journey. She certainly has earned the world's R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
