my comments are directed at their contempt of their hosts and their customs and dare i say it, but they introduced it, contempt towards their religion - not a good foundation to build a church on

i have no other recommendation for these particular blokes other than grow a pair of tolerances - and stop rorting the system

does the thread need to only exclusively talk about the impending riot at Hawkesbury or are examples of "losing my religion" acceptable in a thread titled "religion again used as an excuse"

i found two more examples - one where children are indoctrinated and yet their guardian is saying it is just a "show of religion" - AK-47 style, and the other one was using a vehicle to kill innocents in "the name of religion"
all three examples are varying degrees of the same thing - when you look at it closer

what is your - umm - interest ? - thread integrity ? control? political correctness ? other ?

You can link all the stories you like about different religions, and how nasty they are, but does it add to the OP, which was about a particular religious group, Diwan Al Dawla, and their contempt for Australian law in the illegal land development. The only link in the articles you attached, is that they are also about Muslims.

Probably not much, unless they had read Camus, or give a fvck about a schoolboy's interpretation of his novel. In effect, it's a story about a French colonist in Algeria (The Stranger), who murders an Algerian man, over a dispute between his friend and the brother of the friends girlfriend, and is subsequently executed for the crime. So, unless they are into analysing classic French literature, they'd probably just take it at face value, and mistakenly see it as something a bit racist.
