OBD2 device won't help unfortunately, basic immobiliser DTC fault codes can be read and reset by OBD2 software but you can't reprogram a key that way.
Hey All,
So bought a crappy second runabout but it only came with one key... So after a quick google I decided the Cruze could self programming new keys - WRONG! everything after the JG model apparently...
Anyway, is there a trick? Or software that I can use to achieve this? I've a OBD2 device, but can't find anything except for reader software
Cheers

Member since 2004, so much good info missing.
Check this link, it has a link to the manual PDF. Pages 34 to 40 has the steps to program the key.
