    Question X264 to MP4

I have a Floureon DVR system - Ebay special and have some footage I need to pass on to the Police due to some little shits doing multiple breakins around town and I have them on my cameras.
I have extracted the files to my pc but they are a .X264 . how can i play or convert them to MP4 etc so the police can use.
    DVR-192.168.1.112_02_20180914_041232.X264

I have downloaded heaps of different programs with no luck
    Anyone came across this

    Cheers

have you tried adding .mp4 as a extension? .x264 sounds wrong
    or
    or try any video converter

Use Handbrake to convert to mp4....THE video encoder. It will analyse the file and convert (with numerous options) to mp4 or mkv.

The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
