Default PDF software Applications - Which is most Preferable

    Hi Guys.

Just looking at installing an Application that enables the editing and re-arrangement of PDF files.
I was for a while using Adobe Acrobat pro DC , but found the cost was a killer - especially when I only use it every now and then.

Can anyone make any recommendations on what other Applications are out there and how good they are.

    Using Microsoft Win 7 / 10 OS's.

    Cheers

    Ren

Are you editing an existing PDF or creating a new one? Foxit for existing ones, LibreOffice for creating.

    Hi Guys.

    Thanks for your replies.. Awesome.
I'm mainly Editing existing PDF's but do create the new one from time to time.

I'll have a look into both Foxit and Libreoffice

    Cheers

LibreOffice will only allow you to create new ones. I believe that there is also an add on for M$ Orifice that permits you to save as PDF, too. I do not know just how powerful either app is in regards to creating interactive PDFs. If all you need to do is to create a read only document, then that should work.

I found CutePDF pretty good. You also can get Pro version for pretty good price (just saw $50 for 1 license)

Comes standard with office since the 2010 or 2013 one I think.
