Another reason why I have never used Users/MyuserName/Dokuments/BlaBlah for storing personal files on a PC.
That is also where Ransomware would search first.
Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.
Compatibility: A word soon to be deleted from our dictionaries as it is outdated.

Mine is as well, however the 1803 Feature update was rolled out earlier this year & was installed on mine in May this year, so they are talking about the old update in the article that Phil has pointed to, as if it's the new one, which their heading says is 1809.

Just checked & Microsoft have paused the rollout of the update while they investigate the reports of files missing/deleted.

We have paused the rollout of the Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809)* for all users as we investigate isolated reports of users missing some files after updating.
If you have manually checked for updates and believe you have an issue with missing files after an update, please minimize your use of the affected device and contact us directly at +1-800-MICROSOFT, or in your area.
Alternatively use a different device to (link will vary according to country of origin).
If you have manually downloaded the , please don’t install it and wait until new media is available.
We will provide an update when we resume rolling out the Windows 10 October 2018 Update to customers.

    Cheers, Tiny
