    Default Samsung TV display fault - Model LA46A650

    Hey people, I've got a TV with display problem that looks like a T-Con fault. I read other posts and followed instructions;
    * Cleaned gel from rubber heatsinks and T-Con PCB.
    * Replaced swolen caps on PSU 1000uf 16V x4.
    * Ran TV and heated T-Con but fault still there.
    * Left running till panel was hot but fault still there.

    I'm trying to post pics...

    Thanks, jason

    If all is lost, as a last resort you could try some percusive stimulation.

    By this I mean, GIVE it a DAMNED GOOD WHACK!!!

    Someone posted a Video of doing just that to a Plasma that had developed quite prominent Vertical lines down one side of the screen.
    The suggestions were it was caused by 'bad' or Dry joints and hitting it with a cricket bat (I kid you not) fixed the problem in the very short term........
    Another had a colour band problem across the top and bottom of the screen which was blamed on the Halogen Globe getting old but when it was replaced, it was worse and then he found out you must do a major realignment of the 3 colours screens as well and there was no guarantee by the makers that would remove the bands.
    I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
