Default DVI displays block text , pics are fine.

I keep coming across this problem so have always used VGA to connect PC to monitors or TV.
I know that HDMI and DVI are far Superior to VGA but when i connect my PC to a monitor or TV the pictures and videos display perfect but the text shows as blocky.
It must be a simple fix but for the life of me I cant find it. I am hoping I have not broken any rules but have attached a screenshot to show how my text displays. All pictures are perfect. Text is not

There is a setting in Windows called "Adjust Clear Type Text", have a play with that it should fix your problem.

Looks ok to me too. I've never had any troubles with my TV which is currently connected via HDMI, wife's TV is via VGA, both work fine using both Windwoes (several versions) and Linux. None of my TVs were manufactured in this decade.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Both picture and text appear normal to me.

I have just attached a closer shot of the blocky text that I am talking about.
VGA drivers and DVI are updated. Different Browsers display the same and Adjust clear type text have not made a difference.
Zoom into the below jpg to see what I am seeing. any letter with a 45deg angle seems to ladder or look like minecraft.

If you all still say its not blocky after zooming into it i will admit myself to care.

Perhaps look into font anti-aliasing for your system?
It's on by default on my system (MX-Linux) and if I turn it off the text looks similar to your pics.
Though that could be what Joezep mentioned above, that setting might control the anti-aliasing on Windows?
When I first hooked up a Samsung TV via HDMI to use as a monitor I had a similar problem, it looked crappy.
I had to change one of the settings in the TV itself, I think in the source settings from just HDMI to HDMI/DVI or HDMI/DVI PC or something similar to that, once that was done the picture/text etc. was perfect.
