Default Italian IPTV Mediaset RAI Reelplay

A friend of mine asked me tonight if some of the available services around to get the likes of Mediaset via IPTV (I notice Reelplay seems to be the way to go) is a good thing - he has his elderly Italian In laws now moving in with him and is keen to keep them occupied after moving from Sydney. A similar service the in laws had in Sydney seemed to work well, unfortunately they can not bring that device or service to Melbourne

Are there any pointers, good or bad experiences out there on this? It seems like a no brainer, an IP TV box and a subscription.

On another note is there any news if the RAI Satellite service will be changing or closing in the future, when I was googling just now I thought I saw something about the frequency being used being taken over for future 5G services

An Additional Update - The frequency band currently in use by RAI will likely end up being used or allocated towards 5G services. The Sat delivering RAI is also apparently reaching End of Life, there is a high possibility of a frequency change or the Satellite service will be discontinued

News or feedback anyone regarding ReelPlay ?

The iptv service I have has 240 Italian channels......

Just had a quick look, every one works fine.....

Most in HD of full HD 1080p...

Im using an LG smart TV, but mag box etc is probably a better option....

    Hey Hoe,

what is the IPTV Service you are using to get said channels. As I would be interested in getting Italian channels also.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

All good here, thanks. I got this going with my Samsung Smart TV, I must say that I am impressed although I sense good internet speed and a latest most current powerful TV (i.e. latest powerful processor) is a must. I am using Smart IPTV App - IPTVBoxsHD.com

Not sure what happened but last night it seemed I was getting some blocking from my ISP )needs acces to king-box.club .... when I accessed with my 4G off my phone service all was fine.

    This morning all is good

Another project for me is to set up a VPN that way none of this or other blocking will be a problem. Privacy benefit is also great

Another option is the Rai Play and Mediaset Play apps on android although you will need a VPN set to Italy. The have live streams of their channels on there.
