I was aware of metal spinning but have never seen it demonstrated before.
No doubt they have been using this technique for Centuries as they are renown for their craftsmanship in all types of metals.

Sorry, I should have been more specific but I was thoughtlessly referring to those in the Video who appear to be of 'Middle Eastern Descendancy).
Only that day I was watching a Docco on the Traders and manufactures of Gold and Silver ware and it loosely covered from the Arabian Sea into India, the area generaly called Asia Minor.
They were using almost identical techniques, only the physical size varied.
In a slightly different form, I saw one Metal worker shape a body portion of a modern day Rolls Royce using spinning wheels.
I hope that sorts out who the 'They' are I was reffering too?

that is how Andrew antennas used to make their 4m dishes.
yes they did but slightly more sophisticated with hydraulic tools and ppe gear a lot were cut in half then welded back together after shipping .I have a ten footer here i still use
