i have dobinson coils all round in the ram, they are excellent with a load.
bilstein shocks as well.
13mm height difference in tyres = 6.5mm lift.
it will also affect gearing and speedo...
Am looking for recommendations for a suspension upgrade to a Raider PX11. Have weighed the xr6 i tonne ute and estimate i am lugging about 700kg around so i need a lift kit with 500 kg leaves in the back and balancing coils in the front
Estimate a minimum lift of 40mm hoping i dont have to drop/place spacers to align the tail shaft
Found this article about shockers and looks like Tough Dog shockers are reasonable
Dobinson kits seem popular on the Ford sites??
Know a few have done the lift and look forward to comments
Also tyres and rims are 265/65 R17, can i place 275/65 R17 on them, was told by BFG that i would get a 13mm lift, just don't sound right to me
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"

Hoe, did you buy your Bilsteins in the States? Bilsteins are really ripping off the Aussie motorists, shockers for the front of the Ranger24-231527 $286, rear 24-231534 $247.50. Compare to the following
I would be very surprised if Bilstein developed shockers for the local market alone, suspected they are re numbered shockers available in the States

yes, from the states.
local bilstein agent said they don't make shocks for my ram........
your raider is probably called something else in the states...
you need front struts, not shocks, which are quite a bit more expensive...

allover (13-11-18)
If that's a Ford Raider (I had one - good little bus) They are a re-badged Mazda so have a look at shocks for a MAZDA Courier (IIRC)
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
