Default Prov 00 on silver, writing pk's

    Hi all

Just read the pk's on my two silvers and goldie and was surprised to see pk's had been written to the Prov00 pks!

on the 3 cards PK's had been written in the Prov00 slots, all slots had keys in them from 02 through to 0f.....

I have no idea why they were written to these slots as I'm using Prov10 on the silvers & goldie....would anyone have any idea why this occurred?

because of where they were written to they seem to be serving no purpose and I don't kknow if they are Ird 1 or 2pks

I wouldn't mind posting them here, but I doubt if the mods would turn a blid eye?

When you wrote the details to the silver did you put 000000 or FFFFFF as the Provider 00 ID, as I have had cards do this before even on provider 30 as well when I wrote FFFFFF, as soon as I changed the Provider ID's to 000000 nothing happened, weird but it happened.

    Hi Al

ye your right I did indeed write FF FF FF to the prov id 00 and also filled the other prov's with FF as well, but what gets me is, it was only Prov 00 that anything was written to other than prov 10, but here are the keys

I noticed some time back that if I had my austar card in one slot of my toppy & an aurora wafer in the other slot that the wafer would become corrupted when watching austar.

Guess it was writing plain keys to the wafer while watching austar.
Don't worry, it only seems kinky the first time.
