    SUMMARY

You have gone from Android 7 to Android 9
    You have lost Passthrough Audio
You can no longer use NTFS USB hard drives or NAS drives using ext4, the unit has lost support of NTFS.

    More detail here:

This exactly what mine did during me watching something
It also kept all my dodgy non Playstore Apps after the update
It has probably locked in the newer YouTube, meaning more ads!!!

    UPDATE ISSUES

"According to whirlpool forums the update has disabled support for NTFS.
FAT32 drives will still work fine, which is ridiculous due to the file size limit.
It forced an update and it broke passthrough
Updates are causing crashing and freezing. It requires the box to be hard-reset. Very annoying.
Ethernet gets disconnected now if you use a VPN now too"

Heaps of people getting a refund for the now crippled box
Vodafone have agreed to Refund anyone with a VTV in store.

It also wants you to Update your remote control (for what reason i have no idea, i have not done it)
From reading it seems the Auto Firmware and Android update could not be turned off.... Meaning you can no avoid it.
