Default Hisense 32" TV Tuner - might - need replacing

    Hi all,

One of those situations that is it worth the time. But it's that repairing bug

Hisense 32". When turned on, the picture is ok, then starts to break up, choppy, sound choppy as well.

    Model HL81V88.

Does anyone here have access to Hisense tuner board level contacts?

I have photos of the RF/Tuner board am I'm sort of convinced that the tuner module, well the RF socket is micro cracked inside somewhere, but if you think I should just chuck it and get a second had 32" for $100, then let me know.

If a tuner module (is that the right word), is say $50P+P I'd have a bash, just to fix it...!

    Happy xmas everyone anyway

Well, a sign of the times...

Picked up a few things from Jaycar, and saw outside a HN clearance store a 22" Tv for $80. They had a 32" for $165 3yr warranty. So what the heck, I got it.
Even on GT people are selling for $100 or $150.

I was hoping to have a go at the repair, something to do, the challenge...

Even paid the extra $30 for a PLUS 4 yr warranty. So 7 years LOL!!!
Don't even need to keep the receipt as HN have it on record. So if it blows up in 6 years, I get a swap with a brand new (equivalent), one or a cash refund.
    Just crazy!
