yep , Kaspersky Internet Security.
Yes - Separate hardware/software
Yes - Integrated (virus scanner + Firewall) eg KAS Internet Security
No
Do you USUALLY use a firewall on your HOME pc's?
Not really interested in what specific program/hardware you are running.
Default xp firewall doesn't count, ie default xp = no.

yep , Kaspersky Internet Security.
kaspersky for me also
Yes, hardware, and a software one for program control.
Coding in C is like sending a 3 year old to do groceries. You gotta tell them exactly what you want or you'll end up with a cupboard full of pop tarts and pancake mix.
I have kaspersky...but disable it.
can't see the point in it...have a good enough hardware firewall that emails me when there is an event.
I use AVG Internet Security works a treat for me
1x Dm7000, 2x Dm500 SD
11-11-11 - NOW PoxBox

Kaspersky also with firewall disabled as had probs with it blocking stuff even though configured not to.
Hardware firewall.
What happens if I press alt + F4?
hardware firewall + sygate to manage outbound applications
im looking at putting togeather a ipcop box.
anyone had any experience?
Hardware firewall and also on linux server
hardware firewall + eset smart security on one and zone alarm security suite on the other.
I like to have something on my desktop that 'tells' me if something new is trying to open an outbound connection. Inbound,.. router's firewall is enough.
I rely on the firewall in the router. Seems to deal to most crap. However, I rarely surf any dodgy sites so I seem to avoid most of the nasties.
Rising Firewall. Works great in the background.
I use the Optus supplied security package F-Secure includes firewall, works well compared to my old Norton one.
I use Outpost firewall, highly configurable and works a treat, has built in spyware scanner, process injection monitor and more goodies to keep you protected.
Use Kaspersky as AV only.
Have never been a fan of the bundled internet security packages, too big and bulky stealing ridiculous amounts of RAM and resources.
These 2 together provide best protection and performance ratio for me.

IpCop is the best firewall I have used, Linux based of course. It only requires a 386 from memory. Something we all have in the cupboard. Very easy to set up and VERY VERY secure.
It is the most stealthiest firewall I have ever used, totally invisible.
Yes. Zonealarm firewall plus Eset anti-virus.
I also run Spybot and Registry Mechanic regularly.
windows firewall and AVG antivirus
Trend micro Internet security works good for me
