Default Bosch Solution 6000 - Door Chim setup problem

    Hi,
I added an wireless Door contact to my Bosch Solution 6000 system.
The intend to have the two keypads CHIM when the door is open for a prolonged time (e.g. 5 min).
So far I am constantly getting the main Siren and screamers triggered when opening the door (set it test to 10sec delay for testing). Current configuration below, based on Solution Link SW.
I cant see the problem, maybe someone done this before and has some idea.

    Configuration:

    Under Area:
    Area 006
    / Name=Door / Part Mode 1 Name=Main Door 1 / Part Mode 2 Name=Main Door 2 / TimeZone=24h TimeZone
Exit Time Restart=check / Reset Alarm Memory On Diarm=check / Acknowledge All Faults=check / Single Button Disarming Allowed - Part One=check / no timers set

    under Inputs:
    Zone 7 Doo
    r / Zone Type=24h none burglary / Area Assignment=Door / Door Assignment=Door 1 Main Door
Report Options, Report Trouble=check / Zone Options, Test On Exit=check
    RF Devise=RF ID set

    Under Outputs:
    Output Properties
    / Output Name=Door / Event Type=Disabled
    Output Options / Off On Battery=check / Monotor Overload=check / Monitor Device Fail=check / Block If All On=check
    Door Properties / Door Name=Door 1 Main Door / Unlock TimeZone=24h TimeZone
Door Options / Hold Off If Area Armed=checked

There is a number of reasons, not sure if there is a reason why you have done it that way? Maybe to suit the site?

Why area 6, what is the home area of the 2 keypads.
Why use a 24hr zone type?

Using the chime feature is a global setting, a you using the chime for any other zones

If it was all one area,
why not use Menu 303 to set zone 7 as a chime zone and other zones off
Use a normal zone type like entry delay or instant
In Menu 206 set to Chime after ??? seconds
In Menu 205 to turn chime mode on or press and hold button 4 to toggle chime mode on and off

Thumbs up Got the Chime working

    Hi Memeber Secure,
thank you for the information much appreciated. I experimented over the holidays with the system.
The latest status is that I incorporated the Door Sensor (RF reed contact) in the main Area 1 (GND all Zones) and it triggers the alarm when the door opens.
The Chime finally does what I wantes with the setting below.

Zone 8 Main Door, is now part of Area 1 (GND all Zones).

Menu 303 = Zone 8 Door Main, Chim On
Menu 205 = GND all Zones, Chime is On
Menu 206 = A1 GND all Zones, Chim allways

    Configuration:
Area: Area 6 removed for the Door contact

Inputs: changed while testing with 2 Zones,
    Zone 8 Door Main / Zone Type=Burglary Delay 1 (Entry Timer1) / Area Assignment=GND all Zones / Door Assignment=No Door Assigment
Report Options, Report Trouble=check / Zone Options, Test On Exit=check
    RF Devise=RF ID set

    Under Outputs: removed
