Default Repurposing a Fitbit bluetooth USB dongle to BT audio?

The better half bought me a pair of Bluetooth wireless headphones for Christmas. Would be nice to use them with the desktop PC, which doesn't have Bluetooth built in.
Being the electronic hoarder type, there is an old Fitbit Bluetooth USB dongle sitting here doing nothing and wondering if I can repurpose it for BT audio? It shows up as a standard USB composite device in device manager, and says the driver was installed OK for it.
If this is possible, what's next?

I guess it will be difficult unless you are game enough to re-develop drivers,

The next step is to buy a Bluetooth dongle for anywhere between 9 and 15 dollars and enjoy wireless headphones.

Thanks. I was hopeful it might have been a matter of getting an existing Bluetooth audio driver and repointing it to the PID/VID of the ex-Fitbit dongle and going from there. Off to eBay it is then!
