    Very sad news.

I enjoyed all her roles... a great talent.

That is sad, I had to look her up, but I do remember her now.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Couldn't get enough of "A Country Practice" when I was young. Loved Penny's work with Grant Dodwell.
The one thing that always amazed me about her was that she was once married to the notorious curmudgeon for a very brief time (BTW, I did love his work both on radio and TV).
A stranger couple there may have never been.
    Vale Penny (Vicky Dean) Cook.

Agreed, I remember thinking at the time what an odd couple and I was in my 20's.
