Default Tecom v8 activate door relay ts862 using spare input

Hi all what i am trying to do is activate door relay (ts862) via a spare input on the challenger v8 every thing is operating correctly on ts862 access card works ok and is communicating with challenger lan
its not a easy job to connect the egress button mainly because it a big job to run a new cable.but to access a challenger input is easy.
so what i want this for is to be able to open this door remotely via a IP relay device using a vpn
i am fairly familiar with challenger programming and are using titan to program it

    thanks in advance david

My guess would be that you would map the relay on the TS0862 to a number. You can then have the input set to activate this relay when unsealed. I have not used a TS0862 board so not 100% sure on how you map that.
But i did look at Titan and see that you assign "Relay Control Group" to the arming station.

    The help file says:

    "Relay Control Group"
This record allows you to set a relay control group for an arming station. This relay control group is then used to drive relays on the arming station.

You can use between 1 and 32, so maybe try and put a number in there, then map the relay, then go to -> Control -> Relay -> Select Relay -> Set, and see what happens to the relay. it may / may not activate.

    Depends whether its a V8 or C10.

Give the Ras (TS0862) a relay number and EF number (V8 a relay control group number EG RCG 32 is relay 249 use EF 249)
Create the relay (249) with EF (249)
Make the input type 20 Input add to that the EF (249)
Aspire to Inspire Before you Expire!!
