What fault finding have you done?
Have you checked power at lock? Is new lock a higher current draw? Do you need to fit a diode across power?
Swap it to a different door output for testing.

I replaced an old faulty Maglock with a new one recently. The previous maglock was working fine except the contacts where worn out and grinding out the surface wont fix it.
The new Maglock worked for about 20 mins and then lost power completely. At first glance i thought it was because of the batteries dc supply going into the 4DC but i checked and the battery was supplying its normal 12v to the dgp.
One thing again was the SC reader lost power completely as well. Again i thought it was a faulty reader, i installed a new one still same problem. :confusion:
Other doors on this 4DC are working fine except this one.

A 4DC can only provide 250mA max power per relay & max Aux. 12VDC power is 700mA I believe. If you have maglock powered by the 4DC relay this is less than most single Maglocks require, a Lockwood Z4 is specified at 450mA and this consider a slimline maglock. try powering the maglock separately and confirm the results and if it restores functionality to the problematic reader.
If not swap the reader to a working reader port on the 4DC to see if the reader port is the issue.
Best practice is a separate PSU for locks with individually fused locks. Allow at least 500ma per lock.
