    Default Maurits Etscher exhibition.....

I'm off to Melbourne this weekend, for those that are interested there is currently an exhibition of 160 of etschers works at the national gallery.
Also a Sydney Nolan exhibition next door.

Front row seat to evita with Tina arena on Saturday night and I'll be all cultured out.

Might even go back to the sky deck for a couple of beers, as I'll be staying over the road at the oaks.......

It's going to be 45 degrees Sunday in kalgoorlie, so I picked a good weekend to go away....

    What's to envy?
Single, great job with a few 100k to spend p.a ?

    I chose wife and kids
...nah not that bad, can get cultured up at Youtube in the comfort of my home, with nice home cooked food and great home brew.

    It's Escher BTW.

This is not Escher but my all time favourite piece of engineering since I was a kid, which could have been inspired by his works:

I had a wife, got one kid going to uni.....

Yes, having a family beats being single, but sometimes (well quite often actually) that's how it goes....

15 years ago I was newly divorced with a $5k ute and about 5k in the bank. Ex got everything except my super.

That's the price you pay for working long hours and earning big money to provide for your family....

Now If I want something I go for it, bugger the expense. Might be dead, or bankrupt tomorrow...

They had quite an extensive amount of escher items for sale at the shop. $5 coffee mugs with a print for $25 etc...

I got a couple of frig magnets and a book of prints....

They had no stubby holders, a point I made them aware of.
After all, its every Australians right to commemorate an event with said stubby holder.......
