Yeah & he was taking it easy due to a fractured wrist!
You can see the last leg at 6.00pm on SBS, it's been on every night for the last week or more.
    Cheers, Tiny

yes great effort and especially with the wrist. Been watching the Dakar coverage on SBS. It's ok but could be better and really with an Aussie in it you'd think there's be heaps of talk about it in the sport news!!

He was already a legend, now what is he?
Sensational effort, great tactics for the whole event and wow, to take the overall win and get his head shaved
All one handed..... I know i shouldn't be happy, but i was so chuffed when the American's Factory Honda blew up... AGAIN!!!!

Hondas, they have cost so many people a top finish, 2 of the 3 Factory Hondas blew up at Finke (in podium positions), again at Hattah and now at Dakar.

Toby Price has already selected what Junior rider is to fill his position with KTM in Australia (As Toby rides for the KTM World Team)
He also said that last years Finke was his last (on a bike), but we now hear he'd like to do the Bike section at Finke one more time... Along with the Stadium Truck.

If anyone would like to see some of Toby's own GoPro footage from Finke to appreciate his speed, check this out.....

His bike is geared to do around 170kph and keeps that up for 220km down to Finke and 220km back to Alice!!
It would only take one mistake or a camel to walk out.... And what ever the top of his bikes piston is made of probably was used on the space shuttle!!!!

I always wanted to do the Finke race, Even now I'd still love to have a go. I'd certainly not be competitive, and, at present not be fit enough. But I could go down in the record books as the slowest competitor yet. But, I agree with hinekadon, What's with the made roads?
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
