    Default Bosch ICP-CC404 / WE800EV2 replacing remotes

I have moved into a house where a Bosch security system is installed. I was only given the master code when taking keys and nothing else. The system has a remote arming kit in the panel but I was not given any remotes. My questions are:

    1. With this kit, do only HCT-4 remotes work? Or can I use any 433MHz rolling code remotes?
    2. If I want to add a new HCT-4 remote, can I simply do it following the guide in User Manual section 5.3, from the keypad? Or I need physical access inside the panel to press the learn button on WE800EV2 PCB as it's manual suggest?

Goal is to buy and add a new key fob without opening the panel. Without the installer's code I can't open the panel without setting off the tamper alarm and it is painful to endure the siren until you disconnect the battery! Thank you.

If it is the WE800EV2 only the HCT-4 remotes will work as far as I know.
You will need to use the learn button on the WE800EV2 to add remotes.
You can still open the panel, then use your code to disarm to stop the sirens. Sounds like the installer didn't enable bypass option on zone 8.

I would also do delete fobs to clear any existing remotes.

Thanks secure. The siren is right next to the panel. That's why i was hoping to avoid openning it. I'll go in with some heavy duty hearing protection!
