This would have to be the worse case of corporate idiocy I have ever seen.
All Gillette razors in the bin for me, I shave my head every second day along with my face so I do spend a bit of money with them. But the only way to try and stop this idiotic virtue signalling is to stop supporting the companies that engage in it.
I am a man , therefore I am masculine. Proudly. So go #### yourself Gillette.
Feel free to give it a thumbs down on Youtube.

The only thing wrong with that advert is that it is advertising a product, Seriously the message is important and if the last few seconds were removed, you'd not know who was advocating a better way. I don't see the need for blokes to have to drink themselves stupid, beat up on women, or one another, for that fact, to prove their masculinity. What is the problem?
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
Amen!
@lsemmens....I have met the type of man that you inexplicably associate with all of us on the fingers of a couple of fingers. F*ck anyone that advocates this type of stereotype as the norm.
I like Gillette Lime shaving cream, and I like Gillette razors. Dunno what I'm gunna do now......

Every Refugee is a Muslim
Every Muslim is a terrorist
Every African is a gang member
Everybody who disagrees with Admin is a leftie
...and now every Man is a violent abusive domestic criminal ?
All of a sudden this black and white thinking is wrong and you are insulted!
I don't agree with the ad or any of above statements but it fits in todays world where the behaviour of a few individuals
becomes generalised by the media so that this moulds a public opinion and that of politicians(and now shaving companies) who have
to show that they are supportive of this black and white 'public opinion'.
So maybe we will all have to be locked up and neutered one day.
... I shave electric

Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.

I am NOT generalising, and I don't perceive that ad to be generalising. There are SOME men who thing that this sort of behaviour is acceptable, and, what's more, there are plenty of men who think that it's none of their business. Wife grew up in such an abusive home. All the neighbours knew about it yet NO-ONE DID ANYTHING about it.
I was the opposite, I never knew such abuse existed until I met my wife. These blokes NEED to be stopped, and an ad such as this might just save one kid from going through the torment that the families of such animals go through on a daily basis. No, not ALL men are like that, nor are ALL Muslims terrorists, but, there are a large (larger than you might think) that are (yes I am generalising here on BOTH counts) that do think this way.

No, but most are currently.
No, but the vast majority of terrorists ARE muslim.
No. but most of the troublemaking gangs in Melbourne currently are.
No, I disagree with him all the time on a wide range of things, and I don't consider myself a leftie. Quite the opposite in fact.
No. It's just a lie. I object to a lie.
We are more likely to be locked up and neutered by the intolerant left IMO.
Built in a country by a corporation that derives it's power from propellers and batteries? I doubt it.
Plenty here too, and more to come....

I think its well past time we had ads condemning toxic woMENs bahaviour which is farrrr more prevalent than so called toxic masculinity !!!!!!
pathetic add , glad i use schick.
adds should be adds about the product and not try and be
a soft cock political statement to appease the minority.
we are at a place now in time that its safer not to say a word.
I think the add has achieved it's objective. Everyone is talking about it.

The other male stereotype that really sh!ts me atm, is the bumbling half-wit husband/Dad, who only manages to get through life because of his long-suffering, far more intelligent wife.
A classic example at the moment is the Pope sprinkler adds. I wouldn't care so much about the drongo husband act, if it wasn't for the housewife's tired, condescending, disapproval of his misfortune.
Not going to sell any razors to me. This is virtue signalling, pure and simple. I want no part of Gillette, and won't be buying any of their products in future.
Singo demonstrated beyond a doubt years ago that annoying ads can still work. How about ads that stereotype and insult their customers all in the cause of virtue signalling? Success or otherwise will be judged on its effect on sales. The left seems to do very well by threatening boycotts. I for one won't be buying another Gillette product short of a very humble backdown. If there are enough who do the same?
Spot on, Tiny.
It's all about eyeballs........the most valuable commodity in advertising.
The outrage will eventually evaporate, but the name will remain on the tip of the tongue for much longer.
And all bought to you by those gender-sensitive, respectful folk at............what was their name again?

time for a boycott!
