    In order used

    1. Malware Bytes Anti Spyware. 180 tracking cookies removed.

    2. Spyhunter. 100 odd tracking All removed. cant remove the 2 dangerous ones because they want $$$$$ to remove them.

    3. Hitman Pro No threats found

    4 Kaspersky cost $$$$$

I will try the linux trick but I will eventually re- install windows 8.

I still think If I get a Genuine battery the problem will go.

Thanks for the update, Mr 672A.

KMS is the little utility that makes a non-genuine version of Windows appear to be genuine.

Now, out of curiosity, I checked the date on which you first reported this problem... 22-01-19, which is 3 1/2 months ago.

Don't you think that it's taking a tad on the long side to locate and fix the fault?

It's obviously V-E-R-Y low priority indeed.

...and I envy you in having such an understanding wife.

NO it the other way around. My wife is very touchy with her notebook because it has CHROME and FACE ACHE and I don'y like both. I criticize her a lot as I have made patrician (D Drive) for for Even thing Like Wife Photo's, Wifes EXE's, Wife Documents yet I find everything she download is scatter in C drive windows directory. I hate people that dont listen to me but when they have problems the problem that I warned about 2 months before it happened they cry to me. My son is the Worst. I'm not GOD but when someone does thing wrong I warn them 10 time DONT DO IT THIS WAY YOU WILL BREAK IT OR F>>K IT but they still do it and eventually it fails they dont know why it failed so they cry to me. The Wife it like this not only in her Notebook.
I alway have plenty to do, sat Tv stuff, garden, at the Monent fixing another car ( Bought it cheap) for a new Shopping Car only as we do not drive the NEW one at out shopping center, I had a Lighting issue wiping out a TV and SAT box in ONE ROOM ONLY, away from our main room, this is the third time this has happend in 5 years yet luckly, luckly, luckly my main tv room that has 10 Monitors and one 75 4K in TV + over 10 Sat Boxes + 2X OPPO 4K players Plus a amp system that make people drual on the ATMOS and DTX system we have luckly been spared from Lightning close strikes. Now this problem or how to work out is more puzzling compared to the NoteBook issue.

For now, it matters not which version of Linux is used as we are only testing. FWIW I use Linux Mint 19.1.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Well I started Ubunto on Friday and it run great so after 20 minutes I connected to our modem and went on the net and I was doing stuff for one full hour so after I hr I disconnected from Ubuntu running PERFECT by the correct way to turn it off and without rebooting the Notebook I went into Windows/. Chrome and within ONE MINUTE the Notebook shut down so to Start it again I had to remove the Battery, wait 2 Minutes, Fitted the Batter back in and start it again.

Now the Next Job will be is re install Windows 7 out of there reserved section but at the same time the Wife does not want Win 10 as she hates it.
So guy what does this till us. Is Windows Corrupted or Is HP playing Funny Games with us. Possiblt Corrupted as I not have seen other to have the same Complaint like us.
