Removing Messenger contacts.
Recently advertised on a local BS&S page and of course got contacted on Messenger by numerous people. The all have found their way into my contacts with no help from me but I can't find a way to remove them. Any suggestions?

I had the same issue , i think you can press / hold on thier name and then you will get the delete option.

I just tried this on my phone , yes it does work. press the name for a couple of seconds and you get to delete them

Thanks for the advice guys but no go on my phone unless I am starting from the wrong screen or something.

Cracked it on mine just now. From the Messenger app select people, non friend contacts will have a very small rectangular icon on the far right of their name, tap it and an option will appear. At least that's on my I6. Thanks for your input.

ok , on my Galaxy 6 it works the way i described.
