    Default Ford au2 radiator

    Never heard of this before. Just bought a new radiator of cbay & it came with the core curved see pic. Here's the reply by the store...Hi there!

    I received your pics, the curve is normal. That is not damage or broken. This is designed to improve the heat dissipation effect. It will not leak, there is also a gap on our ad. No worries.

    I haven't checked if the tanks are parallel yet. But the explanation sounds dodgy.

    In saloon/stock cars years ago we used to tilt the radiators more than they normally were.
    It was to change the angle of the air flutes or whatever they're called between the cores, slowing the airflow through them a bit, used to help stop them overheating.
    Maybe it's a similar idea they're using there.
    If the curved cores stick out further than the original it might be an issue I guess.

    its just a chinese core, pretty normal id say

    hard to say , ive not seen that before and dont see how it can assist cooling ?
