I had no problems clicking on the FAQ button on the toolbar and finding out

Edit : Pssssst....look at "Add Image to post" that's under the quick reply box.

I pointed you to the FAQ button because far too many people don't know its there and it generally answers most questions.

"Post Image" is also on the toolbar.

Feel free to have a play in this thread, as there are various size options etc etc.

You are presumably trying to link to a picture on your own desktop without uploading it, given the local address.

All you have to do is click on add image to post and select the image. I am using Google Chrome, it automatically ads the picture to the post, I cant speak for other browsers.

Ok, so if you are using Chrome its all pretty easy.

(i'll do this as I type to make sure its correct.) Say you have made a post and are halfway through it and need to add an image. Just click on the "add image to post" link that's just under the box you type in on the left hand side, a popup box will appear and where it says choose image, select the image from your computer that you want to add. It will upload it, and the image will just appear in your post. Exhibit below

You can click on it to see it full size. This is the preferred method of doing it. If however there is a need to post it full size, you can click on "upload image" on the toolbar at the top of the page and you will see a few different upload options.

Uploading the same image that way gives a few more options. If you are posting for example the direct link, for full size, you need to cut and paste the code in to your post.......and at the start you need to type [img] and at the end you need to have [/*img] (take the star out, I had to put it there otherwise it thinks its a picture).

Cutting and pasting in the option "thumbnail for forums" code just gives you what we had in the first example.

I would say you are blocking images. Browser, security settings, account options/editor......take your pic

You can see the image in Tiny's video.

I don't think so. Can find no blocking in Firefox.

It's probably got something to do with Linux.
