Default Extend Access point with additional antenna's

Would this work with good quality Coax?
I would like to be able to move around with out having to access different access points and without purchasing additional hardware.
I understand there are access points that talk with each other and will allow seamless swapping between but i have heard these have their own issues.

    Several points.

Ap’s are usually low power, runs of coax at 2.4 or 5 GHz frequencies are very lossy

You can’t just add antennas, you need to go through approbate splitting of the antenna system to maintain impedance and reduce further losses.

You can use an amp, they are available, I have several for 2.4 GHz.

You could install a second/third AP in the location you need to increase signal.

You could just use a higher power AP, Ubunqui make various hi power AP. I run a 1 watt BulletM2 on into an external antenna which easily covers my whole block and beyond.
