Default Can't establish connection with Ftp and powerline

Hi, I'm using a TpLink W8980 router and two TpLink powerlines in my network.
I need to transfer very large files over my Wifi Lan to and from my phone/pc and I've noticed that when you are near the router the connection is established and the files is transferred but if I'm with my devices near my powerline that it has the same Ap's router name I can't connect the other device.
Why do you think is this happen?

Are your AP’s all using different channels?

If sharing a name they will each need their own channel. For 2.4 GHz wifi you would be best using channels 1, 6 and 11 at 20 MHz spacing to get the best separation.

Using Xirrus Wifi Inspector the powerline uses 1 and 5 channels and 2412, 2432 frequencies.
Instead the router uses 6 and 10 channels and 2437, 2457 freqs.
I remember that I set automatic changing for the best frequencies/channels and I think that the access points has set for best spacing..

I noticed that if I use two devices connected to the different access points (one to powerlibe and another to the router) the connection is established but I noticed inconstant speed with significant drops of speed and that maybe depends on my home's electric system where I connected the powerline..

Is the issue one of poor speed, or one of no connection at all?

As you mentioned, speed issues could easily be attributed to a number of reasons.

Do the power line AP’s have an Ethernet connection that you could plug a laptop into to do speed testing? If ok speeds are reached or would eliminate the cabling as the issue.

As I wrote the devices connected to the AP's powerline don't working for Ftp transferring at all.

But I did some tests and I noticed that if you take one of two devices for the connection to the other AP (AP's router) the ftp transferring works fine but I also noticed some drops of the speed..
