    Default GPS for offroading

Hi All. I am looking for a good recommendation of a high capacity, durable GPS that I can load "backroad map books" files into.

This would be used on a off road vehicle like a polaris ranger.

Ideally as well, I would love to have some way of loading offline satellite imaginary to a device. Places we go font have cell reception so these maps come in super handy for finding trails/ways out.

Not being smart, but last time in the back of NSW I had more info on my mobile using HERE app than two GPS's in other vehicles
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"

Backroad Mapbooks appear to be either printed paper maps, or maps in .pdf format.
For use with a GPS device you'd most likely be wanting the
These are Garmin compatible maps, requiring a Garmin device.
I bought a Monatana 610 last year, it seems to work ok.
It has the ability to use topo, bluechart (marine), street or custom maps, it's tough, IPX7 water rated, able to be run from a powered vehicle mount, has it's own rechargeable battery, it can also use AA batteries if needed, takes 3 of them.
There are other Garmin devices that can use that format of maps, visiting a Garmin dealer & checking them out would probably be advisable before making a purchase decision.

EDIT: it can also use satellite imagery, some dealers offer a 1 year subscription for free.
