The next Federal Election will be no different.
The difference is huge DB44. Nothing to do with luck. Everything to do with half decent management. Prior to this Liberal Govt, NSW politics had been dominated by corruption, scandal, self defeatism and just about every other form of cancer you can think of for at least 40 years. It's actually been quite refreshing to be able to just get on with life without interference from the Govt... which is what the Liberal brand is supposed to be modeled on. I have some interest in politics but the NSW Labor party have been invisible to me despite the fact I live in a marginal seat. It just hasn't been a realistic alternative. All IMO

You mean all the best for Sydney:

The intelligent woman apparently ignorant that half of NSW does not live there.

Private schools get an extra chunk.
Improvements in education are air conditioners for some schools.
Bet from the promised 1060 doctors, 900 go to greater Sydney and we might be VERY lucky to get one extra Doctor up here from a country that ends in -stan.

Of course, the question arises, what would the other party do to improve this situation? It matters not which party is in power, those outside of the Big Smoke only ever get the crumbs.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Thus the decline of the Nationals. Even the shooters are more popular ATM.

Crumbs are what nomeat is saying I think, although his hopes were dependent upon the ALP actually fulfilling their promises. An unlikely event IMHO.
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

My hopes were dependent upon a winning independent making deals with a minority gov, which was an even more unlikely event in my region.

My 12 y/o might get an air conditioner in his school from the kind Lady by the time he does his HSC, which is comforting.

Not really my usual sarcasm here. As a person she does seem like a nice Lady. Maybe I could write a letter and ask her kindly to leave the Powerhouse alone. She surely needs the money elsewhere. Damn, now I can't even figure out myself if I being sarcastic or not

I think she will continue to do ok. I'm not in NSW and across all issues but the big one I saw was the controversy over the rebuilding of the football stadium.
The choices in the federal election will be more challenging.
