    Default Foxtel go box

Looking for a streaming box that can run foxtel go. My mini pc does it, wondering if an atv box can, or an android box can. Foxtel go, not foxtel now. Used to be all over it but a little behind these days.
    Thanks in advance

I believe the Fetch TV box can do that.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Foxtel go app is an addon for subscribers
You can download on android or IOS or windows and get streaming service.
Limited service depending on subscription pack.
It cannot be cast to a TV. Only a PC version with HDMI out to a tv monitor can work (but not fox footy)
The picture quality is designed for phones.

Foxtel now is a streaming app (stand alone) A fox sub doesn't get you in. you need separate payment.
This app will work on TV's.
Can install on android tv, PS4, android TV box etc. which can be connected to TV's.
It is an alternative to a IQ box subscription to Foxtel.

I have been looking for a "modified" version of foxtel go to install
where I can use my sub details - but no luck yet.

You can use a PC (I use a chromebox) to a TV. You do get Fox Footy if Sport is part of your sub.

You can cast from the Chrome web browser to a chromecast on the same home network, without paying extra for multiroom.

Quality is much better now, as you get HD quality (probably 720p), so is quite watchable on a large TV.

I forgot to mention you can cast Foxtel GO to TV only if you have a "multi room" account

I have been waiting for this addon for a long time.
I have installed with login details (from my foxtel subscription) on various devices with mixed results.
    1. Kodi on Sony Android TV = works
    2. Kodi on Nvidia Sheild TV = works
    3. V88 Scishion = installs the addon, but wont play any channel.

The same thing happens with Optus sports addon.
I have optus sport addon on a Xiaomi Mi Box and it works.

On a friends generic type android box, the same thing happens, installs but wont play.

The only point of difference I can determine is that it works on true Android TV operating system (ATV)
and possibly not on a android phone system cloned to a tv box.

Can anyone confirm this addon working on generic android box
or any reason why its not playing on some boxes?

Fabulous addon. Works great. I also loaded the FTA channels and streaming great. This guy has done heaps of addons for various services. I'm using a MiBox.

For those people who wish to install this on a Foxtel Now box, you can install Wonderbox (a Kodi fork) from the play store. They have blocked the direct download or side loading of Kodi on this box.

I am trying to help a friend out with foxtel go apk which wont run on android 5.1.
I have put it down to no Widevine DRM which is required for these streams.
Is there any way to enable this?

They block widevine if you sideload Kodi it must be installed from Google Play Store to run widevine
I suggest you get a box that allows play store install of latest Kodi
However Wonderbox does have widevine support

Thanks, I am pretty sure kodi was installed via Google Play store.
I don't think he knows how to sideload.
    Also wonderbox didn't work either.
