I’m sure the intention of the ABC in broadcasting these conversations was to reduce the support base of ON. However, I see it having the opposite effect, with the rusted on supporters simply becoming even more rusted on, and with the people who are on the periphery moving closer toward the party.

If nothing else ON are getting heaps of media coverage - which can only work to their benefit.

By what you guys have said, I get the impression not the same side as the channel broadcasting it (if they have the stance anything like modern media internationally).

So, this begs the question -- what is the other side getting up to that people don't know about? Are they truly clean or are they just better at hiding things than their opposition?

It's of course just me, but I don't trust politicians one bit. If one can do whatever, so can the others, and then some. They are in the business of gaining power over millions, so "whatever means necessary" comes to my mind immediately...
