    Default CNC Routers

Anyone here had anything to do with this kind of stuff, I was thinking of getting one for home as a hobby

These seem to be reasonable price but reviews vary depending on use

    cheers thomo

Austech member, Loopyloo, would probably be the best person to talk to, as I think that he has some experience with CNC stuff.

Also, check the CNCzone website. Its members specialize in this area.

I had a mate buy a commercial one 20+ years ago, it was $150,000
He had no idea what he was going to do with it, but bought it anyway (from a trade show)

I introduced him to some Surf Brands in Torquay and next thing you know, he was timber engraving their logos in all their Point of Sale merchandise
    Sunglass display cabinets
    Watch display cabinets
    Signage etc

Looks like a fun project and an affordable price... Good Luck
If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!
