    Default US Netflix

    Hi all.

I have express VPN, I have an australian netflix account. I am able to access the US netflix via the ipads and PC when the expressVPN is turned on, but how do i access it via the TVs please.
we have chromecasts. changing the dimensions on the modem/router is not an option. are there any other portable players etc that I can hook up to the tvs to allow expressVPN to work on?

    thanks

i think you have to cast to the tv, via ipad or pc, maybe a phone?
why do we need the NBN ? because the copper network is constipated & needs fibre

Not exactly understanding your question, but, if you have Android TV you can install the express VPN apk on the TV, and connect to
    country server of your choice.
I do this for crackle tv apk and get more available content via USA server.

I think you will find that when you instruct the iPad to initiate a casting to a tv through say a Chromecast that the iPad simply tells the casting device to go off to this or that site and stream. Given that your iPad is “vpn” connected but your tv may not be then the regional restrictions will apply to the tv.

Solution maybe to route the tv through a vpn connected computer then into your lan

I don’t really know. I have never tried it. Just throwing it out there.

Netflix sees that the chromecast is not connected via the VPN and blocks it.

Have to run a VPN client on your TV or use an Android box with VPN.

You could also setup a virtual network that goes via your PC with VPN running.
