I have just bought a new computer and would like to install Windows Movie Maker, because that is what I am used to. I remember reading a thread on a forum and I thought it was this one, that the forum web site had a download for Movie Maker even though it was not available from Microsoft any more. Any help appreciated. Brian DJ

I Love Movie Maker so thanks for the above. I need to install it on my work PC but as time goes by I will see a need to move on. I can load heaps of formats onto it including 4k, but can only output at 1080p. I recently went overseas and recorded on my gopro, camcorder and phone. turned them all into 1 big movie with movie maker looks fantastic. Was able to load a bunch of different formats and resolutions all into the one timeline but can only output to 1080p max. Does anyone know a way around this or do i need to move onto another program? I have googled alternatives to MM but they look like a whole new learning curve.
