Hmm, no single useful reply. Why wasting time?
I always achieve what I want, so I will get it - one way or another - with you help or without. Thanks anyway.

Bless your heart. I bet that line works on the ladies as well....

This thread really grinds my gears. Yes, I know that labour can cost more than parts. Guess why? Check a map and see what country this is. But don't let me stop you coming here, looking for free advice from people who normally charge for it, and generally making an ass of yourself. I guess every smarthome needs a bit of dumb.

At least I don't need to offer my usual warning about DIY systems' potential impact on a family's security. Clearly in this case it's OP alone (except perhaps a few cats).

I do however feel sorry for the tech support bloke on the other end of the phone and would hate to think someone else who knew what they were doing was stuck in a call queue because of this DIY trainwreck.

    And it's not even Wednesday.

It actually isn't but perhaps you were too obtuse to notice.

Why? I actually found most members why replied to my post to be arrogant.

Anyway, Jay Vara (Bosch Product Management – Intrusion Systems) will discuss in the US next week the communication API development possibility for G series and Solution 2000/3000, and provide me with the required hardware for development and testing.

And Ness in Melbourne tomorrow will provide whole day training for their M1 Gold integration, with free M1 Gold kit.

    That's the way...

So home security is nothing comparing to my experience If you know all about it, then you do not need help! (wry grin - again)
I'm not interested It would appear that you are more interested than offending people than you are in the correct information, which, BTW, you were given. Sadly, it's cowboys like you that have made it hard for genuine tradies to do their job without lots and lots of "useless" bits of paper.

FWIW you catch way more flies with honey than you do with vinegar..................
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

I've been using a Ness M1G, with M1XEP IP module, works great with homeseer and the ultram1g3 plugin.

Thank you. I didn't know that Ness and Elk M1 panel is the same. So Ness AU is just a distributor? I thought the make them?
I contacted Ness about info - they offered 8 hrs training for $830
    Are you in AU?

I'm working with Bosch on their Solution 2000/3000 currently.

The Ness M1G is a re-badged ELK panel from the US, so its fully compatible with that homeseer plugin.
Ness do manufacture alarms, however the M1 is actually an ELK.
The M1 is a fantastic panel, so many options!

    Yes I'm in AU.

    Here's my HS system.

    Cheers

I don't think so, it most more then a standard panel, but its far more capable and customisable, also the existing integration with homeseer was a huge plus

I am trying to do something similar to what you described in this thread. Wondering what kind of luck you have had.. You mentioned you had some example code to interface with the B426 module - Are you able to share that or any of your findings (or via PM)?

I would send you a PM but aside from joining over 10 years ago my ability to private message is blocked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I started reverse engineering some of the protocol however I have not yet captured the data I am looking for..

By the way, you can buy these parts online and installation is dead simple. I did this all myself using instructions from a place called cheap alarm parts... took no more than an hour

So you respond almost 9 months later... just to troll.

You're one step away from being shown the door.
