I used to have several around a sawmill monitoring conveyors ,log hauls etc worked well directly into a pc monitor thru a adapter to take video to vga
Anyone familiar with the Pelco CC3300-2 cameras.
I am wondering what it would take to put a couple of these out around the field to monitor. Having flood lights running wire/coax not a problem.
What software would work with cameras to use pc for monitoring with a capture card or better to use DVR?

Hi
I have googled them and found they are old model aren't they ??
If they are very cheap (or Free) i would recommend buying them and connect them to a DVR. If not then there are much better options. In such situation i will recommend for you Hikvision PoC DVR with Outdoor PoC 5MP Cameras. They are cheap and require simple experience for installation. PoC Cameras uses coaxial cable for power and video transmission. So all what you need is a DVR, Coaxial cable, HDD and cameras.
