    Default FOXTEL GO question

    Hi all,
Ive done quiet a bit of reading but am interested un hearing if anyone has any solutions for streaming foxtel go from a tablet / phone to a tv or alternatively if anyone has used android boxes that have worked??

I know foxtel stop the streaming feature to chromecast which would have been ideal for my situation.

I have one tv working using a minix android box but find that it is clunky and very expensive.

Any thoughts on ways to get around it appreciated!!

You can use Foxtel Now on a tablet/phone or an android box, if you want to ditch your sat system. if so, the thread in the Internet TV forum about the Mi Box 3 might be of interest. I have FTA channels, Foxtel Now, Stan, Netflix, Kodi, etc etc on mine.

    Default FOXTEL GO question

There was a direct link available that I had some minor success with a while back. It was essentially a direct link to the overlay page of the (old) ‘Foxtel Go’ app, now just the ‘Foxtel’ app. It allowed you to watch it via a browser then stream it using Chromecast.

If you can find someone who can extract the link from the current Foxtel app you may find it still works in a browser.

I've been using a windows/android dual boot box, cost about $100. Android stuck on 4, windows 10 keeps updating. My next box will be a mini windows box, I never use the android side of things personally anymore. A good smart dns and you can watch anything. Foxtel go is fine on the windows side.

I haven't found an android box that does foxtel go, that's not to say there isn't one but I've looked. No problem with the dual boot or win10 box.

Matt huisman has a foxtel GO kodi addon now. It works great. I use it on my Sony android smart tv.

I've got a Telstra TV (re-branded Roku) that does Foxtel Go. Last time I looked, there wasn't much to watch, so I stick with Netflix.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Telstra TV does Foxtel Now not Foxtel Go. Different things. For those wanting to use Foxtel Go (with the appropriate log on credentials), follow the Kodi path.

Yes, Foxtel Go can be easily confused for Foxtel Now because they both essentially do the same thing. Go is for existing Foxtel Satellite/cable subscribers whereas Now is standalone and anyone can sign up and pay by the month.
