A quick google says you can. one mob I saw charges about $6.00 so probably worth it.

Could it be that the phone will not work correctly on Telstra?

A look at the phone specs shows no 3G 850, which means no 3G connectivity on Telstra. And while it does have some of the Telstra LTE bands, I don’t known if it is a supported phone, so VoLTE would not work.

Grab a Vodafone SIM and see if that works, as they should be support by this phone. If Voda works you know the phone is unlocked, it just doesn’t have the hardware to work with Telstra.

As soon as i put in another sim i get a message saying it is networked lock, wont bother any longer with this phone.
