Missing Melbourne Man near Dargo

Now in its 5th day.... No sign

A father and son go hiking, the son also has his jack russel dog, apparently they become separated (hmmm), father returns and son and dog still missing.



Today the search was joined by local deer hunters, mounted, SES, Parks Vic and anyone with local knowledge
Tonight, there has been no update....
As much as this story has consumed my mind during the day in hope they find this man and his dog alive...... At this point you have to wonder.

You cant walk that far from Dargo in that time frame
Separated from his father... was their an argument?

By now, all near by huts would have been checked... All tracks would have been checked....
Outside the son hanging himself (that happened here in a search and rescue)... You almost have to wonder what happened when the 2 separated.

Tonight i was expecting the either we have found them or "another day of searching with no luck"..... But there has been nothing at all
No word, No follow up..... very strange.

I have no idea vroomvrrom, could be....
In a small news report late last night, Vic Pol have scaled back the search, sent many assets home.
Left a police presence in Dargo in case someone comes in with any information
Friends of the lost person have stayed and have vowed to not stop looking until they find him
